How licensing works

A ProPanel license may be purchased and activated in each Pro Control Studio file. This is a two-step process, which involves purchasing a license code, then activating that license code on the processor. Licenses may be purchased here, or for a more streamlined experience purchase them through Pro Control Studio programming software. 

Licenses may be purchased as a single connection or family 5-pack (any combination of iPad and iPhone) for use on a single ProLink processor.

A single device license is now included FREE with every processor.

Family pack includes 5 license codes which support up to 5 Apple devices (any combination of iPad and iPhone) connected to a single processor. The Five connection license can only be activated on a single ProLink processor and may not be used in another system file or processor.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ

• Installation and download of ProPanel for the ProLink.r (only) requires an internet connection. The Pro Control Studio file will be downloaded to the processor (IR codes) and to a cloud storage service (iOS images and programming). The installers computer and users iOS device must have an active internet connection to accept the file transfer.
• ProControl licenses are registered to a specific processor MAC address. Once activated, licenses are not transferable to another processor. No refunds, exchanges or license transfers to another processor are allowed. Therefore, double check the MAC address you are activating the license on, as this cannot be changed.
• Use of the ProPanel from a remote location requires Internet access for the processor using a dynamic DNS service or a static IP address supplied by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) that is being used at the location.
• Max 10 licenses allowed per ProLink.z, Max 5 device connections allowed per ProLink.r
• No upgrades (no returns or exchanges)
• R and Z licenses are not interchangeable, only a Z license will work on a ProLink.z processor.
